Internship application update

Massachusetts Governor's Office internships
Christina Mills, a journalism alum who now runs the Governor's internship program at the Massachusetts statehouse, will be in Bartlett 201 on Thursday, November 13 at 2 p.m to talk to would-be applicants for spring, summer and fall internships working in the governor's office or executive agencies of state government. Check at the journalism program office for location.

Chronicle of Higher Education internship

The Chronicle of Higher Education is the nation's largest publication that covers higher education. The publication is looking for two undergraduate editorial interns, May through August. A $500 weekly stipend is provided.

Sportswriting Internships

The Sports Journalism Institute
This program offers a workshop at the Poynter Institute in St. Petersburg, FL, along with paid internships at major newspapers. Apply at the website.

Juniors and seniors can spend 10 weeks covering major league baseball for money next summer. (Gee, I don't think we have anyone who would like to do that.) For details, go to the website.
